<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an asynchronous signal transmission system achieving transmission having small latency regardless of asynchronous transmission. <P>SOLUTION: In the asynchronous signal transmission system for transmitting signals between asynchronous signal transmitters operating with synchronous clocks, reference timing generators 11, 21 generate timing that becomes a base point for reading values from transmission control registers 14, 24 and reception control registers 15, 25 with a reference clock C0 as a base. The transmission control registers 14, 24 prescribe the timing of a signal driven by a module (MH) 1 and a module (ML) 2, and the reception control registers 15, 25 prescribe timing at which an own module can sample a signal driven by the other module.
