PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a crescent lock having a locking function and easily operated to lock. SOLUTION: A locking arm 5 is hangingly provided at a handle shaft 4, and a fixed collision part 6 is disposed on one side of a tip part in a locking angle position of the locking arm 5, while the tip of a locking slider 7 is disposed on the other side. The locking slider 7 is energized downward while being guided movably between a locking position where the tip holds the tip of the locking arm between itself and the collision part, and an unlocking position outside of the turning locus of the tip of the locking arm, while a control lever 11 is disposed in a swingable manner near the lower end of the locking slider 7 in an overlapping form. A dial 14 formed with a cutout 15 at the outer peripheral part is turnably provided near one end of the control lever 11, and the control lever is energized in a direction to put one end in proximity to the outer periphery of the dial.
