PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle-mounted camera video image presenting apparatus and a method of presenting a vehicle-mounted camera video image, which prevent discontinuity of brightness near a connecting part compounding acquired video image even when the video image is picked up with a plurality of cameras under a different condition in brightness. SOLUTION: Two ambient vehicle video images picked up by photographing means 110a and 110b which are installed individually in the two different positions of the vehicle and which pick up the ambient video image for a common field view region are, for example, are subjected to visual point transformation so as to be the video image seen from the identical visual point, by visual point transform processing means 120. The brightness of the two video images are adjusted by brightness calibration procedure means 130 so that the brightness of the field view region common to the two video image becomes equal. Further, the two video images are compounded into one video image by image composite processing means 140, and presents the obtained ambient vehicle video image by a liquid crystal display 150.
