The device has a random number generator unit for the supply of random values, a processing unit for the processing of information, an input unit for the input of information by one or more users and an output unit. To the selected matrix element, sets of rules are coincidentally assigned and are activated by the user after input of matrix element. The device is so arranged by programming that at least two different sets of rules are available, which assign to each at least one matrix of possible input information, a matrix of possible output information and a linkage between the elements. It determines at least in each case, with the start of the program, a first set of rules that are activated by the random number generator unit when starting or at any point of time the input matrices are selected coincidentally. Sets of rules are coincidentally assigned to selected matrix element and matrix elements are activated by user after input of matrix element.
