<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel cell system operating a fuel cell with high output even when a high-output request command is outputted during MH regeneration, and also to provide its control method. <P>SOLUTION: This fuel cell system S is provided with: the fuel cell 4; a high-pressure hydrogen tank 7; a medium-pressure valve 81 for changing over a communication state of a hydrogen gas supply passage 8 for connecting the fuel cell 4 to the high-pressure hydrogen tank 7; an MH tank 3 with a hydrogen storage alloy 31 stored therein; a passage 32 for MH for connecting a part on the downstream side of the medium-pressure valve 81 to the MH tank 3; and a cutoff valve 33 for MH for changing over a communication state of the passage 32 for MH. The fuel cell system S is provided with an ECU 5 having: a function for bringing the medium-pressure valve 81 into a closed state and bringing the cutoff valve 33 for MH into opened state in MH regeneration; and a function for opening the medium-pressure valve 81 when a high-output request command is outputted to the fuel cell 4 in MH regeneration. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
