<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a device, having the characteristics of decoding video sequence in a prompt and energy-efficient method, by recognizing a need for electrical saving and increase of speed, in a video decoder circuit. <P>SOLUTION: The video decoder recognizes a continuous not-coded macro-block group that is linked with a current frame in a bit string of compressed video data, which are received through transmission from the main memory. For reconstructing the current frame, the video decoder reads the micro-block group, linked with and corresponding to the former frame, from a first position of the main memory to a local memory and further, up to the second position of the main memory. Then, the number of the frequency of memory approach can be reduced, when decoding is conducted with respect to the continuous not-coded micro-block. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
