PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a time slot allocation method and a base station apparatus utilizing the method for decreasing the influence on a terminal to which space multiplexing is to be applied in the same time slot. SOLUTION: A processing section 22 executes adaptive array signal processing. A modulation-demodulation section 24 executes modulation-demodulation processing. A work-out section 28 works out the strength of signals with each of a plurality of half-rate terminals as their wireless communication quality. A control section 30 allocates time slots to the plurality of half-rate terminals to communicate with the base station apparatus 10. The control section 30 selects two of the half-rate terminals the difference of the strength between which is small among the plurality of half-rate terminals and allocates time slots having a prescribed relation to the selected terminals.
