PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information provision system of a game machine capable of providing data such as contents merged with the game state of the game machine by utilizing the portable telephone of a user, easily providing the player with various kinds of the data, and enabling the player to easily obtain the original data of the user linked with the game of the game machine and connect and enjoy the actual game of the game machine and the data. SOLUTION: The information provision system of the game machine comprises: an information gathering means 11 for gathering the game information of the respective game machines 20; a data base 12 for storing the data 15 composed of the game information 16 gathered in the information gathering means 11 and the contents 17 distributable from the Internet; a display part 30 for changing into a prescribed display form corresponding to the game state of the game machine 20 and displaying a two-dimensional code 31 provided so as to be read by a CCD camera 51; and an information provision means 13 for distributing the appropriately selected data 15 through the Internet to the portable telephone 50 corresponding to the read of the two-dimensional code 31.
