PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily recognize the location of laundry inside a laundry basket when hanging out the laundry to dry from the laundry basket. SOLUTION: The laundry basket is provided with: a bucket body composed of a rectangular bottom surface part and side face parts erected from three edge parts of the bottom surface part; an extension bottom surface part which is a foldable bottom surface provided on the remaining edge part of the bottom surface part of the bucket body; extension side face parts which are foldable side faces provided on the respective edge pats of two side face parts appearing at both ends of the remaining edge part of the bottom surface part of the bucket main body; and a moving side face part provided on the edge part of the extension bottom surface part and the extension side face part on the side opposite from the bucket body.
