<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processor capable of preventing data stored in a checked memory area from being damaged during memory checking of an unchecked memory and of expanding a memory area without damaging data stored in the checked memory area during memory checking of the unchecked memory when memory capacity is insufficient in the memory area. <P>SOLUTION: A CPU first checks a memory in a memory area of a RAM 18 to which a program and data, etc., necessary to start the information processor are allocated, and when a memory area to which data is newly allocated is required after the completion of starting the image processor, data stored in a memory area allocated to a destination having the possibility that the data is damaged by checking a memory is retreated before checking a memory in an unchecked memory area, the retreated data is returned to the original place after the completion of checking the memory, and the memory area is expanded. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
