<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an in vivo tissue closing tool and an in vivo tissue closing apparatus which can cope with the states of various in vivo tissue membranes and easily and certainly close a wound opening formed at the in vivo tissue membrane to completely stop bleeding, and which is excellent in safety. <P>SOLUTION: A clip 4 is provided with a clip body 40 and a thread 46 having a knot movable in one direction. The clip body 40 consists of: a plate-like seal part 41; a deformation part 42 which can be deformed between a first form of expanding in a direction nearly vertical to the seal part 41 and contracting in a direction nearly parallel to the seal part 41 and a second form of contracting in the direction nearly vertical to the seal part 41 and expanding in the direction nearly parallel to the seal part 41; and a connection part 44 for connecting the seal part 41 and the deformation part 42.
