PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten time required for determining a cylinder, by discriminating the cylinder from the number of crank angle signals and the number of cam angle signals generated between missing tooth parts. SOLUTION: For this purpose, a first signal member has a cam angle signal generating part detectable by a cam angle sensor. A second signal member has a crank angle signal generating part detectable by a crank angle sensor and generating an angle signal with every first predetermined angle by synchronizing with rotation of a crankshaft and the missing tooth part without generating the angle signal over the first predetermined angle or more. The missing tooth part is composed of a first missing tooth part and a second missing tooth part, and is arranged in a position where the number of angle signals generated in the rotational direction of a crank angle is different between the number detected up to the second missing tooth part from the first missing tooth part and the number detected up to the first missing tooth part from the second missing tooth part, and has a cylinder discriminating means for discriminating the cylinder from the number of angle signals and the number of cam angle signals generated between the missing tooth parts of the second signal member.
