<p>A heat generating treatment apparatus capable of output control other than constant temperature control, enabling the range of treatment contents to be increased. A heat generating treatment apparatus (1) has forceps (2) for coagulation and incision, in which a heat generation element (21) is provided in a treatment section (9); an applied current detection section (31) and an applied voltage detection section (32) for detecting values of a current and a voltage that are applied to the heat generation element (21); a control calculation section (33) for calculating one of a current, voltage, electric power, and temperature in the heat generation element (21) by using each of the results detected by the applied current detection section (31) and the applied voltage detection section (32); an output setting section (35) for setting one of the current, voltage, electric power, and temperature in the heat generation element (21); an output control section (36) for controlling an output to the heat generation section (21) based on the result of the calculation by the control calculation section (33) and on the setting by the output setting section (35); and a control selection and switching section (39) for selecting, as control contents for the output control section (36), one or more modes of control from constant current control, constant voltage control, constant power control, and constant temperature control.</p> |
