PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cellular structure optical element, wherein an injection port can be sealed with sufficient airtightness and adhesion strength and influence on an effective region by excess infiltration of a sealant can be prevented. SOLUTION: In the liquid crystal element, a guide pattern 67, whose guide path is folded doubly so that one side thereof comes into contact with a sealant 63, is provided in the vicinity of the injection port 64.
