<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform more accurate calibration in calibration of a printing device. <P>SOLUTION: Generation of a color profile and calculation of a target value of calibration are simultaneously performed. Deviation of temporal or environment fluctuation at the time of generating the color profile and at the time of generating the target value of calibration is eliminated.
