<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical fiber structure in which positional relation of input/output ports coincides with the arraying order of optical fibers while the wiring of the optical fibers are arranged compactly, and also to provide the manufacturing method of the structure. <P>SOLUTION: In the optical fiber structure, a plurality of optical fiber core wires are arranged between a light input end and a light output end. The structure is composed of an optical-fiber-wiring rearranging section in which the plurality of optical fiber core wires are changed in the arraying order and a plurality of optical fiber arraying sections in which the optical input or output end exists adjacently to the optical-fiber-wiring rearranging section. At least one or all of the plurality of optical fiber arraying sections have a laminated structure in which the plurality of optical fiber core wires are arrayed in parallel on a plurality of planes, while other optical fiber arraying sections have a single layered structure in which the plurality of optical fiber core wires are arrayed in parallel on the same plane. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
