PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly reliable piezoelectric oscillation device by not only employing such a structure as a small quartz resonator is applicable but also by eliminating outflow of a conductive bonding material while enhancing impact resistant performance. SOLUTION: The piezoelectric device comprises: a metal base 1 having metal lead terminals 11 and 12; planar metal supports 13 and 14 being welded to the metal lead terminals; a piezoelectric diaphragm 2 mounted in the same direction as the plate surface of the metal support and having an excitation electrode being connected electrically through a conductive bonding material, and a metal cap 3. The metal support has a lead joint being boded to the lead terminal, and an element mounting portion elongating from the lead joint in the approaching direction wherein the piezoelectric diaphragm is fixed to the element mounting portion through a silicon based or urethane based conductive adhesive.
