PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging device to which action information can be referred, even in case it is an imaging device not connected with a network or an imaging device which can be used under network environments with which a host computer is not connected. SOLUTION: CPU 110 of the imaging device 100 reads the action information stored in ROM 130, selects the action information based on preset selection reference information, and stores the selected action information in an outer storage device 200. Thus, it is possible to reduce the amount of data to be referred to by selecting/outputting the action information, and collect only information required for specifying the cause for an impediment.
