PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a self-traveling harvester suitable for a harvesting works of spinach, etc. SOLUTION: This self-traveling harvester (10) for leaf vegetables (1) is constituted by a husbandry machine (11) and an interchangeable tool (20) mounted thereto, and equipped with an axle (13) having a length by which driving wheels (12), (12) of the husbandry machine can trace a passage (5) formed at both sides of a ridge by setting a gauge of track (G) so as to exceed the cropping width (W), a frame including a right-angled triangle formed of a side (X) along the one of the passages (5), (5), a side (Y) making the right angle with the side (X) and parallel to the wheel shaft (13) and a hypotenuse (Z) binding the ends of each of the sides (X), (Y) and including the cultivating width (W), joining parts (17), (18) for fixing the interchangeable tool (20) with the husbandry machine (11) by a part of the frame and a blade (7) having a blade length in parallel to the hypotenuse (Z), capable of sinking into the soil directly under the soil surface (A) of the ridge (4) and cutting forward.
