PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid detergent composition having a pH jump effect on a level where a bleaching effect and a cleaning effect are satisfied and capable of forming an organic peracid from a bleaching activator to such an extent as to be satisfied, when diluted with water, without causing a problem of stability of hydrogen peroxide or the bleaching activator. SOLUTION: This liquid detergent composition contains (a) the hydrogen peroxide or a compound forming the hydrogen peroxide in water, (b) a compound selected from boric acid, borax, and a boric acid salt in an amount of 0.05-1 mass% as boron atom, (c) a compound having not less than one site in which carbon atoms adjoining each other each have one hydroxy group in an amount of 3-35 mass%, (d) the bleaching activator having a 6-13C alkanoyl group which has a side chain in theα-position or theβ-position with respect to the carbonyl carbon in an amount of 0.1-10 mass%, (e) a surfactant in an amount of 4-45 mass%, and (f) water, wherein the composition has a mol ratio of the component (c) to the component (b) of 1.6 to 4.0 and a pH of 4.6 to 7.0 at 20°C.
