3-DIMENSIONAL INFORMATION RECORDING AND REPRODUCING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make high speed recording and reproducing while recording and reproducing information three dimensionally to increase the storage capacity.

SOLUTION: Three-dimensional grids are formed in a 3-dimensional optical disk 1 and oscillated to position within vertical planes in the direction the light spots travel. Signals are generated to control the light spots to make at least one light spot scan the grids three dimensionally for recording or reproducing information.
