<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an intermaxillary fixation bracket which can perform intermaxillary fixation so as to guide right occlusion easily in a short time without requiring a special skill. <P>SOLUTION: The intermaxillary fixation bracket consists of: a bracket body having a mounting surface to teeth; an engaging protrusion combined integrally to the upper surface of the bracket body; and a wire extended from the end of the side face of the bracket body. The engaging protrusion includes: an through hole provided at its proximal end in parallel to the extending direction of the wire; and an engaging part of an intermaxillary traction rubber. Between the through hole and the wire, a one-way clutch with which the wire can be put through the through hole only in the extending direction is formed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
