PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simple and inexpensive soil improving method and a grout having no possibility of causing environmental pollution. SOLUTION: In the soil improving method, an organic nutrient source, calcium salt, and a pH buffering agent are injected. The grout includes the organic nutrient source, the calcium salt and the pH buffering agent. Neither of the materials nor the products are the substances which impose no load on the environment.
