PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for selecting and inspecting an anticancer agent by which the anticancer agent like the custom-made one suitable for an individual patient, and damaging a cancer tissue but hardly damaging a normal tissue can be selected by utilizing an anticancer agent sensitivity test. SOLUTION: The method for selecting and inspecting the anticancer agent comprises making each one or more samples of the cancer tissue (cell) and the normal tissue (cell) from cells extracted by surgical operation, administering one or more anticancer agents to each thereof, and selecting the anticancer agent damaging the cancer tissue but hardly damaging the normal tissue from the results of each anticancer agent sensitivity test. In another embodiment, the method for selecting and inspecting the anticancer agent comprises making each one or more samples of the cancer tissue (cell) and the normal tissue (cell) from the cells extracted by the surgical operation, separating the tissues to a set to which the one or more anticancer agents are administered to each thereof, and a set to which the anticancer agent is not administered, and selecting the anticancer agent damaging the cancer tissue but hardly damaging the normal tissue by each anticancer agent sensitive test.
