PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cation electrodeposition coating composition that can obtain electrodeposited film of good surface. SOLUTION: The cation electrodeposition coating composition comprises a binder resin composition (A) including a cationic epoxy resin and a curing agent in which the average particle size of the binder resin emulsion (A) is 30 to 120 nm. When the accumulated relative frequency F(x) of the particle size distribution of the cation electrodeposition composition is calculated, the particle size value (x) is less than 160 nm at F(x)=0.1.
