PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a resin particle dispersion liquid for an electrostatic image developing toner in which resin particles are stably emulsified and dispersed in an aqueous medium with low energy, and to provide a method for manufacturing an electrostatic image developing toner, by which an electrostatic image developing toner amply satisfying toner properties can be manufactured by using the dispersion, and to provide an electrostatic image developing toner obtained by the method. SOLUTION: Polycondensed particles in a resin particle dispersion for an electrostatic image developing toner are dispersed in a median diameter of 0.05-2.0μm, after polycondensing a polycondensable monomer in an aqueous medium. The electrostatic image developing toner is obtained, e.g., by an emulsion polymerization-coalescence method by using the resulting resin particle dispersion. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
