PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heating system equipped with a combustion type heater capable of improving ignitionability and the combustion type heater. SOLUTION: The heating system equipped with the combustion type heater 50 is equipped with piping 22, 24 supplying a fuel to a diesel engine 10, and piping 26, 52 supplying the fuel from the diesel engine 10 to the combustion type heater 50. The piping 52 supplying the fuel to the combustion type heater 50 is provided by being branched from the piping 26, 28 to return the fuel from the diesel engine 10 to a fuel tank 20.
