PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an appropriate nip width by adjusting a pad pressure of a cleaning apparatus among printer cylinders for replacement having different diameters. SOLUTION: The cleaning apparatus 10 for cylinders for a printer is provided with a pressing part 14, a set-up value-change means, a pressure application means in the pressing part 14 through which the inner volume space is variable and a controller 20. The pressing part 14 wipes and removes stains off the surface of the cylinders in contact with a printer cylinder 22 replaceable for a printer cylinder 22 having a different diameter. A nip pressure set up based on the printer cylinder 22 to be replaced, can be changed by the set-up value-change means and the nip pressure set up based upon the printer cylinder 22 for replacement to be connected to the pressure application means is changed by the controller.
