<p>Partial condensation of a substance from a gas stream by heat exchange with a refrigerant in a cryocondenser comprises heating and/or evaporating the refrigerant by thermal contact with a heat transfer medium before supplying the refrigerant to the cryocondenser. An independent claim is also included for apparatus for partial condensation of a substance from a gas stream by heat exchange with a refrigerant, comprising a cryocondenser (2) with a gas supply line (5), a gas discharge line (6), a refrigerant supply line (7) and a refrigerant discharge line (8), where the refrigerant supply line is in thermal communication with a heat transfer medium supply line at the heat exchange surfaces of a refrigerant heat exchanger (3).</p> |
