FIELD: culverts, particularly corrugated culverts to be laid under road embankments. ^ SUBSTANCE: method involves installing tubular case in embankment body; inserting corrugated pipe in the case; filling gap between inner surface of the tubular case and outer surface of the corrugated pipe with binding material. Tubular case is made as smooth tube and in installed by pressing it through embankment body by applying force of 15-40 tons per 1 meter of tubular case edge perimeter along with following ground removal from tubular case interior. Corrugated pipe is installed inside tubular case so that corrugated pipe is spaced from the tubular case. Gap between the tubular case and the corrugated pipe is filled with cement and sand grout or concrete supplied at 0.2-0.4 MPa pressure from gap top. ^ EFFECT: increased culvert strength and reliability and possibility of culvert laying without traffic interruption. ^ 5 cl, 1 ex, 3 dwg
