FIELD: geophysics, possible use when predicting earthquakes and other catastrophic occurrences. ^ SUBSTANCE: in accordance to method as a precursor of earthquakes, abnormal value of emission of thermal neutrons is utilized, and as supporting parameters - value of increase speed of radiations flow. Method is automated. During mathematical processing, seismic danger index is calculated for taking quick safety measures.
