FIELD: metallurgy, namely rolled stock production, possibly in continuous billet rolling mill for waste-free cutting out of rolled piece by blanks with use of flying shears. ^ SUBSTANCE: apparatus includes unit for measuring length of rolled piece. Said unit is mounted before finish stand group and it includes pickups for continuous tracking of rolled piece. Apparatus also includes pickups for detecting rolled piece presence along axes of finish stand group; following drive roller; pickup for detecting closing of flying shears cutters; tracking drive unit of flying shears, calculation unit. Unit for measuring length of rolled piece is mounted in addition at outlet of rough stand group and it has pickup for detecting rolled piece presence along axis of last stand. At least one pickup is used for detecting rolled piece position and supplying signal to calculation unit. Device for measuring cut blank is arranged after flying shears and it includes data processing circuit, measuring cell and at least one pickup for detecting cut blank position. Outlet of last pickup is connected to inlet of measuring cell whose outlet is connected to inlet of calculation unit. Cell mounted in front of finish stand group sends signal corresponding to degree of trimming head portion of rolled piece to data processing circuit. Calculation unit is on base of programmable controller. ^ EFFECT: less loss of yield due to waste free cutting out of rolled piece beginning from first blank. ^ 1 dwg |
