<p>The tyre lever consists of a lever handle about 20 cm long with an optional milled surface to provide grip, and a 5 cm length of cylinder fixed across one end and having an 8 mm wide slot along it to engage with the wheel rim. Once the slot is engaged with the edge of the wheel rim the tyre cannot slip off, leaving both hands free to fit the rest of the tyre.</p> |
