PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide highly reliable organic electroluminescent display panel and to provide its manufacturing method. SOLUTION: The manufacturing method for the organic electroluminescent display panel 1 includes a process to form an organic electroluminescent element comprising an organic function layer containing a light emitting layer and first and second display electrodes 3 and 5 holding the organic function layer on a substrate 2, a process to form a sealing film sealing the organic electroluminescent element and a process to install the organic electroluminescent element in an atmosphere of deposition material gas of thermal decomposition type after the process of forming the sealing film and applying voltage between the first and the second display electrodes.
