PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flow path opening/closing device for an existing fluid pipe for preventing the leakage of fluid while maintaining further sealing effects at the installation position of a valve body when installed between the cut faces of the existing fluid pipe after cutting the existing fluid pipe, without causing the deformation of sealing materials arranged on both side faces of the valve body during lowering the valve body downward to the installation position. SOLUTION: The valve body 4 consists of a partition wall 6 having an opening H and a valve seat portion 42 provided at the peripheral edge of the opening H and a valve element 7 for freely opening/closing the opening H. The sealing materials 81b are provided on at least both sides of the peripheral edge face of the partition wall 6. The partition wall 6 is tapered to be gradually narrower from the upper part toward the lower part.
