<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display apparatus having a structure for permitting easy installation of an image pickup camera. <P>SOLUTION: The display apparatus (210) comprises a display part (210), and a case (220) for housing the display part (210) with the display area exposed. The case (220) is provided with one or more openings (221), and an interface part (300) for connecting peripheral equipment from within the case (220) is fixed at the position of this opening (221). Since such structure enables the interface part (300) itself to hold the image pickup device (500) constructed integral with a connector terminal (510) as the peripheral equipment, excessive components such as a fixing jig which has been necessary for installing the image pickup device (500) become unnecessary. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
