<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device and method of manufacturing a harness capable of automatically manufacturing the harness in which a first connector of a given shape as seen from the side face is connected to the end of a plurality of wires, and a second connector with an identical shape with the first connector as seen from the side face and a third connector with a different shape from that of the first connector as seen from the side face. <P>SOLUTION: The device of manufacturing the harness 1 is provided with a connector conveying means 20, a clamping means 40, a wire conveying means 50, and a pressure contacting means 60. The pressure contacting means 60 is equipped with a first pressure contacting member 61 pressure contacting one end part each of a plurality of wires W to a contact provided at the first connector C1, and at the same time, pressure contacting the other end part each of part of wires W out of the plurality of wires W to a contact provided at the second connector C2, and a second pressure contacting member 62 at the other end part of the rest of the wires W out of the plurality of wires W to a contact provided at the third connector C3. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
