PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a treadmill in which the load to a runner is small, accordingly old people or those who is limited in exercise can do exercise without anxiety. SOLUTION: In the treadmill in which a part of a rotatedly driven endless belt is a running surface for the runner to run, the running surface is inclined so as to become a downhill toward a direction where the runner advances.
