<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain superior visibility by avoiding a blind spot between direct and indirect visual fields, and an image based on a captured image in a vehicular view supporting device for processing the captured image by an imaging means capable of imaging the front and back of the side of a vehicle by an image processing means for displaying on a display monitor. <P>SOLUTION: The imaging means 14L is mounted in the lower portion of a housing while it can simultaneously image horizontally continuous regions partially containing a direct view region in front of the driver of a vehicle on a driver's seat and an indirect view region at the rear of a door mirror 12L.
