<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a discharge lamp lighting device free from corrosion of a ballast circuit board or terminals of parts even if dew or vapor in a lighting fixture housing are sucked into a ballast housing. <P>SOLUTION: The ballast circuit board 16 is arranged along a ceiling part 17 of the ballast housing 5.
