<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a droplet discharge apparatus or the like capable of discharging/landing a functional liquid droplet on a plurality of pixel regions without causing plotting streak along the arrangement direction of the plurality of pixel regions. <P>SOLUTION: The droplet discharge apparatus is provided with a carriage 14 mounting a functional liquid droplet discharge head 18 in a state in which a nozzle line 64 is inclined to the row direction and the column direction in the plotting processing, a set table 21 mounting a substrate W so that the column direction is parallel to the X axial direction, a moving means 21 for relatively moving the functional liquid droplet discharge head 18 in the X axial direction to the substrate W and a control means 7 for controlling the functional liquid droplet discharge head 18 and the moving means 12.
