PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a style to be applied to a view object when editing a document for a Web page to be edited on an editing screen in a browser screen format.

SOLUTION: A detection means 202 detects a view object from a document 220 to be managed. Not only a direct style whose presence is described directly in a document 220, but also an indirect style in which the presence is known by referring to an external document are collected for each view object. An editing screen generating means 206 generates the editing screen 221 in the browser screen format in which the direct and indirect styles are applied to each view object. A synchronization means 207 synchronizes the content of the document 220 to be managed to content to be edited on the editing screen 221 in the browser screen format, based on the editing work on the editing screen 221 in the browser screen format.
