PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve a stable operation without generating unnecessary vibration of a tray during a tray forward/backward operation. SOLUTION: The disk tray device includes a tray (not shown) for conveying an optical disk and a base chassis 1 to which the tray is attached. A shifter 8 is engaged with the tray and is constituted so as to be displaced between the position of Fig. (A) and the position of Fig. (B), in response to the forward/backward operation of the tray. A main chassis 6 is engaged with the shifter 8, and ascends/descends to the displacement operation of the shifter 8. According to the arrangement, when the tray performs the forward/backward operation, the shifter 8 is at the position of Fig. (A), wherein a resilient member 9 for biasing the shifter 8 between the shifter 8 and the main chassis 1 is provided. According to the action of the resilient member 9, by pressing the tray by the shifter 8, the vibration of the tray during the forward/backward operation of the tray is suppressed.
