<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cuff for sphygmomanometer which can be easily produced at a low cost, excellent in pressure capacity and ischemia capacity, and suitable for a narrowed cuff width. <P>SOLUTION: A sphygmomanometer cuff 130A is provided with a air bag 150A comprising of a first bag positioned on the outer side in the thickness direction when attached to a living body 300, and a second bag positioned on the inner side in the thickness direction. The first bag includes a first expansion/contraction space 157a, while the second bag includes a second expansion/contraction space 157b. The second bag has been formed by putting a single-layered resin sheet 153 over the surface of the first bag on the living body side and then welding the sheet edges onto the surface of the first bag on the living body side. Welding parts 156 between the first bag and the resin sheet 153 are formed on the inner side at both ends of the first expansion/contraction space 157a in the width direction. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
