PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the adhesion of water droplet on a seedling of a seedling mat to the tip end of an application nozzle of a pesticide applicator of a rice transplanting machine. SOLUTION: A seedling mat 74 is placed on a seedling tray 16 of a rice transplanter 100 and a pesticide applicator 140 is placed above the seedling tray 16 to apply a pesticide to the seedling mat simultaneous with the transplantation of the seedling. A cylindrical rotor 66b is rotatably fit on the tip end of an application nozzle 65 connected under the delivery part 42 of the pesticide applicator 140, a plurality of protrusions 67, 67... are formed on the outer circumference of the rotor 66b in a manner to enable the contact with the seedling mat 74, and a scraper 69 is protruded from the rotor 66b and extended to the inner face of the tip of the application nozzle 65.
