The device has an impact shield (1) detachably and distantly mounted behind a ball head and a supporting device in a perpendicular assembly position by a clamp connection. The shield is in the form of a protection plate. A crossbeam (10) is detachably mounted on the rear side of the shield by a screw connection to reinforce the shield. The cross beam is assigned to a towing vehicle side rear bumper and implemented as double-T-beam.
