PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus and a method of guiding a driver for driving operation with care for allowing a passenger to feel comfortable.

SOLUTION: A sudden brake degree calculation determination part 9 determines an uncomfortable degree by the sudden brake; an excessive speed calculation determination part 10 determines an uncomfortable degree by the excessive speed; a degree of narrow distance between a preceding vehicle determination part 11 determines an uncomfortable degree by the narrow distance between a preceding vehicle; and a passenger uncomfortable degree calculation part 12 detects an uncomfortable driving state for the passenger to notify the driver through a display part 3. Thus the uncomfortable state that the passenger feels is directly transmitted to the driver and the driver is prompted to modify the driving operation.
