PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rust preventive film-coated metallic product on which a rust preventive film having excellent corrosion resistance and corrosion resistance after heating is coated and formed. SOLUTION: A metallic member is coated with the rust preventive film. The film contains, as main constituents, a (P) component composed of at least one selected from the phosphate, condensed phosphate and phosphite of selected elements E other than Be, B, Cr, Mn, Co, Ni, As, Se, Mo, Cd, Sb, Hg, Pb, In and Te, hardly soluble or insoluble in water, and having solubility in acid having an acid dissociation constant pK<SB>a</SB>of≤3, a (HA) component as at least one selected from inorganic acid H<SB>n</SB>A having an acid dissociation constant pK<SB>a</SB>of≤3 (A is a single atom or an atomic group of polyatoms; H is a hydrogen atom; and n is an integer of≥1) or the residues of inorganic acid (H<SB>n-1</SB>A, ..., H<SB>n-(n-1)</SB>A, A) subjected to hydrogen elimination, and a (C) component as the colloidal particles of at least one of the oxide and hydroxide of selected elements E, wherein the mass ratio E:A between the selected elements E and the single atom or atomic group A, lies in the range of 75:25 to 1:99, and the mass ratio (E+A): C between the (E+A) and (C) components, lies in the range of 99.5:0.5 to 55:45.
