PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem wherein the sitting posture of a seated person in a head support state by a headrest may change for the worse due to complexity of the mounting configuration, weight increase of the headrest for measures against whiplash injuries. SOLUTION: In a vehicle seat, a square frame shape backrest frame 3 is formed by right and left side part frames 23, an upper part frame 24, and a lower part frame 25, and the headrest 6 is mounted movably back and forth to a backrest frame 3 by an upper side link 12. A lower side link 35 which is connected by a transmission member 31 and actuates the upper side link 12 is provided on the backrest 3 normally to be in a fixed state by an elastic force of a spring 30. A rear end collision sensor 40 is mounted to the lower side link 35, and a lumber support mechanism 45 which has s support part 48 capable of changing and adjusting a pressing force which vertically expands and contracts to press a cushion material 4 of the backrest seat 2 forward is provided between the rear end collision sensor 40 and the upper part frame 24.
