DETECTION METHOD

There is provided a detection method capable of improving an error performance in a multi-input multi-output (MIMO) receiver. The method includes: a first step (S302) for calculating a norm difference between a received signal and a re-building signal obtained by multiplying the estimation signal obtained by an initial stage algorithm of a predetermined detector by a channel matrix; a second step (S303) for comparing the norm difference to a predetermined first threshold value and acquiring the estimation signal as a detection result when the norm difference is smaller than the first threshold value; and a third step (S304 to S309) for obtaining a minimum norm solution by using the primary ergodic search and obtaining the detection result based on the minimum norm solution when the estimation signal is not smaller than the first threshold value. Since the output of the detector of the initial stage is corrected, it is possible to effectively improve the performance if the MIMO system.
